Born in Israel and raised in Iran until the Iranian Revolution left her family unable to return from a vacation in the United States, Nayrika’s early life was marked by resilience and adaptability.

Settling in Lake Forest, Orange County, her family became active members of Temple Eilat and she attended Aliso Elementary School. Just before her eighth birthday, Nayrika’s family moved to Los Angeles to be closer to extended family. She attended Beverly Vista Elementary and Beverly Hills High School, graduating in 1995. Her creativity and passion for world affairs shone through from an early age.

Nayrika began her career at Warner Brothers, driven by a love for film and television. However, when her family’s ladies’ apparel manufacturing business faced challenges due to NAFTA, she stepped in to support them, eventually joining their new liquidation business at the age of 19. For 27 years, Nayrika has been a successful entrepreneur, selling goods to discount chains and later expanding into manufacturing wall decor. She has served as CEO of both businesses, demonstrating her strong leadership and business acumen.

Throughout her career, Nayrika has been an advocate for change and innovation. She has written bills and met with congressional members, including Barbara Boxer, to discuss significant legislative initiatives. One of these initiatives, a campaign to prohibit direct campaign contributions to candidates or parties, is among the many great initiatives she will implement as president. Nayrika’s businesses have also been government and federal contractors, showcasing her versatility and understanding of complex systems.
